There is a pot hole where the entrance to Huntington Gardens meets Miller Dr.
There is a pavement cut across the street (for the installation of a new culvert) that has never been paved. It is a hazard for car and bicycle traffic. Although gravel has been placed, the gravel is now 3-4" below the surrounding street.
All along High Street, from the roundabout heading north to Hillside Drive and beyond, there are so many potholes. Thank you for adressing these issues.
Pothole right at entrance to Huntington Gardens Place
We work for IU Real Estate and we received a report from a staff member at our Commercial Building, Starbucks stating, "I wasn’t sure who to reach out to but I wanted to make someone aware just in case. While running trash outside to our trash bins in the alley, I came out right as what appeared to be an unhoused man threw his items on the ground and loudly said “Well I need to take a sh**.” He started removing his pants and went into the cut out just passed our alley side doors where there are two large dumpsters (I believe for the residents upstairs). I do apologize for anyone that has to handle this, but I wanted to make you aware in case there was a mess with any kind of human excrement there." I have attached a picture of the area they are referring to. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns. (812) 855-3054.
Light is completely out about 1/2 the time and very dark even when on. Exact location is W Marquis and Glandore. PS yall done a great job with the light down the hill from it. Thank you
There is pothole on westbound line of 2nd at the B-Line.
There is pothole at the southeast corner of Dodds and Rodger.
The attached photo really does not do the issue justice - the road on the west side of my house (spring st) has large chunks fallen off, eroding. It needs repaired and a curb needs added, I live at the bottom of a hill and all of the water for blocks up comes rushing into my yard and into my house, vs the culvert just further back in my yard. I talked with someone in sidewalks about this almost two years ago - with the dramatic rain we get now, this issue cannot really be ignored any longer. I would so appreciate a curb put in, road repair, and the curb on the corner of the street raised as well to direct the rain into the drain on the street in front of my house.
