This house has been vacant forever. He has called several times and so have neighbors. The weeds are all grown up and their is an old sofa, shopping cart and other trash in the yard. The house is also infested with rats. It is very dangerous.
Mr. Gardner reported to Street Dept. that a mailbox post with jagged sharp edges is stuck in the middle of the sidewalk at 504 N. Smith. Dangerous to pedestrians, and no mail box attached.
The first house on Azalea, past Summit Pointe Apartments (off S. Henderson St.) has not cut the grass yet this year.

Message taken by Mary Ellen, Planning Dept. Bierce has a drainage problem on the north side of his property. The runoff is going into his basement. He feels that it is coming from Yancy Motor Sales.

re: Bryan Pool swim classes. Swim classes were too large last year and she wants to be sure there are more instructors for children, her child must retake due to not enough instruction.
NOT A COMPLAINT, A COMMENDATION, RE: PEOPLES PARK. Was very pleased with the Peoples Park design, was a little worried about hedge and people stepping over it and damaging it. Hopes grass seed rather than sod is used. When the time comes would be interested in donating see, bulbs, small tree or something along those lines.
