Blocked Street

What in the heck were you all thinking to start that construction in July? Should have been as soon as school ended in May. This is the sort of thing that gives government a bad rap.
Sidewalk Requests
3962 E 10th ST
- Case Date:
- 8/26/2026
Google Maps believes E 10th St is entirely walkable, but in fact there is a stretch from the intersection at N Smith until the sidewalk starts at Fountain Park Apartments without any sidewalk. It is not safe to walk, and it also means many directions given online are dangerous.

I realize I selected the wrong category when reporting this issue earlier today (street light request). This intersection has frequent accidents. This morning, there were two accidents within less than an hour. The second accident resulted in a flipped car. Hillside could benefit from slower traffic in general with more stop lights, stop signs, or speed bumps. Vehicles travel too fast on Hillside.

Water Utility Problems
410 W Somersbe PL
- Case Date:
- 8/26/2026
I’m not sure if this is a City Utilities problem but I wanted to point it out in case you wish to investigate. I noticed on the morning of 8/24/2026 that there was water in the road out front of 410 W. Somersbe Place (in the county but on CBU water). It is not a ton of water and I could not locate a source of flowing water. I thought maybe someone had washed something or dumped something. On the morning of 8/25/2026, there was water in the same places as the day before. Then today, 8/26/2026, after 3pm in the afternoon, the water is still on the roadway. I walk through the area and do not live on this cul-de-sac, so I have not observed anyone using water for some purpose in the area. It just seemed odd to have standing water 3 days in a row when it is warm and sunny, and it is running down the curb a decent distance. This part of the road has been dug up at least twice in the last few years due to water main line issues. So, just letting you know in case it is an active but smaller water leak.

Looks like a cut portion of the sidewalk that needs to be filled in. This is on the sidewalk close to the Warehouse and to Switchyard Park

After work and school lets out (after 3:30pm) this intersection is impossible to turn left while heading north to go west. There are no good functions in this town for a west/east (and vice versa) so this should be looked at with this pending study. The on street parking on Madison is underused and limited and there should be an increased length of turn lane and signal length so the increasing number of folks at new and old developments can head west. Please address this and don’t make it even more impossible to navigate in this area when the study is to be implemented. Thanks!
