A large, tall tree that is about 20 feet due north of my property appears to be dead. The tree resides in Winslow Park If it falls it could likely hit my house. Would you please check the health of this tree and proceed as needed. Thanks.

There is a hole in the ground here where I imagine a tree was supposed to go. This hole poses a tripping hazard. Please fill the hole or plant another tree.

The Sycamore Tree in the easement at the end of our drive is showing signs of possible insect damage and poor health. This is a big tree that could damage things if it or any part falls down. It would be great if the Bloomington City Forester could take a look at it.

Some questions about the white PVC pipe that drains into Sheridan Creek. It is supported by concrete chunks that have moved around over time and, I think, maybe the bank has eroded or pulled away. I have been visiting it for over 10 years and noticing the changes. One thing I first noticed were the bright orange (mulberry?) roots, so carrot orange that at first I thought they had to ne man-made cables. But: now I see earth has been moved around. Doesn't seem to be from flooding. Is it something Parks employees did? And I'm curious what drains into the creek (related to the manhole cover on the other side of the asphalt path. Thanks for your help and for your work maintaining and improving a Park i enjoy so much.

Follow up on #214886 I'm happy to hear that a new tree will be planted, and am very sorry and apologize for my complaint about the condition of a tree memorial plaque in Bryan Park. It is only a little dinged and in better shape than some others . I'm especially embarrassed because when I stop to look at (and photograph) those plaques, if they are overgrown, I peel back the turf. Why didn't I this time? Maybe because there was no tree, but that no excuse. I'll also update my critical Facebook post. Best wishes and thanks for for a wonderful neighborhood park.
