Illegal parking on street and grass at Olcott Park for youth games on Saturdays and Sundays. People parking on grass, in front of hydrants and stop signs are making the road almost impassable at The Stands and Canada Dr area in front of the park. Last week there was a death in the house on that corner and the EMT’s and fire truck could barely get to the house because of double parking and a mess of cars. Please tell coaches the Jackson Creek Middle School parking lot is where people should be parking and please have a police presence next weekend to direct people and to ticket cars parked illegally.

Re: Follow-up to Service Request ID: 208930 I am writing to follow up on my previous request to repaint the curb in front of my driveway with yellow "no parking" paint, to ensure drivers do not obstruct my visibility when exiting my property. Since the repaving and reopening of West 1st Street, traffic has increased significantly, with vehicles frequently traveling in excess of 40 mph. This creates a hazardous situation for homeowners along the street. With the fall semester starting this week, on-street parking near my home is (404 E 1st Street) already at capacity, further compounding the visibility and safety concerns. The traffic light at 3rd and Madison turns red for 3rd and green for Madison when there is no one trying to cross at Madison, either in a vehicle, on a bike, or as a pedestrian. 3rd is the detour for the Rogers closure, and it causes backups on 3rd when the light is red for 40-50 seconds for no reason. Then, the light at 3rd and Rogers is not timing up with the erroneous red lights at Madison, so traffic just backs up yet again one block away between those two lights. Send someone out ot fix this. Madison used to require someone to be there to trigger it. That would be a much better solution, go back to how it worked fine before.

I have reported this light at S. Walnut and E. South Dr. numerous times. The City needs to finally fix it. The light triggers for South Drive on its own, a phantom vehicle or pedestrian. Then, the light is red for Walnut in both directions for 45-50 seconds. Traffic backs up on Walnut, all so no one can proceed on South Drive because no one is there to use the light. This light used to only go to green for South Drive if someone was there in a vehicle or pushed the pedestrian button. That broke down earlier this year and continues to be a significant issue that the City does not seem to address. Why would Walnut not be a higher preference as a major north/south road?

Northeast corner of the intersection of Manor and Sheridan, a tree growing in the drainage ditch is overtaking the road. It makes it dangerous as vehicles are making wide turns and cannot see what is happening on the roads.

I think it was right in this area, the multi use trail on the north side of 2nd Street / Bloomfield Rd has a ton of loose gravel. Can this be cleaned up?
