We're in the third week of this snow and this business hasn't so much as attempted to clear their sidewalk. It makes it dangerous for pedestrians who are forced into the street in the early mornings or evenings.

In both the large and small dog parks the obstacles are rotting. There are stacked logs that my dog has loved jumping on/over as part of the obstacle coarse. Last summer those were rotting away and becoming a hazard for any dog to be on. They have further degraded. They are ready to collapse at any point with weight applied, but also the shear amount of wood pieces that could become splintered into a paw is a major health and safety risk to all dogs. I would love to see these replaced and maintenanced on a regular basis to ensure they don’t become a safety hazard. If at all possible some further spacing on the log obstacles would be great as well. They are too close together and cause her to take pause in between jumps to readjust her body before she can jump to the next. Some more space between would allow for a smooth transition from obstacle to obstacle. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Trees on Pete Ellis Drive marked for removal
Hi there—I just read the article in the paper about this issue. Please work with the state to not remove all of these beautiful old trees. Surely some compromise can be made to save some of them! Thank you!

Pedestrian access on the southwest corner of 6th Street and Morton Street has been completely blocked by high mounds of snow for more than two weeks. This indifference toward pedestrians is outrageous. Photo taken 2026 Feb 9 – 4:50 PM

I would like the street lighting in front of my house to be removed (or at a bare minimum, the light fixture being updated to something that is DarkSky lighting approved where it is ideally motion sensor activated and directionally pointed down and away from my house). It forces us to do substantial light control inside my house when we'd generally like to leave blinds and curtains open to the view of the gold course across the street, it disrupts sleep for some of the members of our household, and this type of light pollution is terrible for wildlife. When we moved into this house in 2022, the light quickly burned out and was not operational for more than 18 months. That was definitely a better situation than the light now that it is illuminated again.
The light pole is 168 135.
