Request for Zoning and Code Compliance Review – @tinygaragebloom Pop-Up : I am writing to request that the city monitor and review the operations of a recurring pop-up music venue publicized via Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/tinygaragebloom/.The venue operates out of a residential neighborhood, hosts public live music events, and charges an entry fee. This raises several municipal and state compliance concerns that I would like the city to address proactively with the operators: Zoning Use: The operation of a commercial, ticketed entertainment venue appears to conflict with residential zoning designations and the strict limitations placed on Home Occupations under the Bloomington UDO. State Fire Safety: Under Indiana Code § 22-14-3, public entertainment events that charge admission require a state Amusement and Entertainment Permit, which generally cannot be issued for Class 2 residential structures due to life-safety codes. Neighborhood Impacts: Recurring assemblies of this scale present consistent risks regarding the 24/7 noise ordinance (BMC Chapter 14.09) and residential occupancy limits. Please consider investigating this location and working constructively with the venue operators to guide them toward compliant business practices, or to help them transition their events to properly zoned commercial spaces.

On Wylie a bit west of Hawthorne (address is 830 Hawthorne. Several squares of sidewalk so badly cracked i caught my foot in one and almost tripped. SS4A should include walkable sidewalks or should I say sidewalks that pedestrians can use safely, including ones who have impaired mobility and/or vision. Thanks!

The pedestrian crossing button is missing on the north west corner of 7th and college. Also on the SW corner the pedx-ing button does not give an audible notice for crossing college but the light did come on after a few attempts.
