Make Bloomington Beautiful Again.
Another AT&T junction box in sad shape: when you are waiting at the traffic light at the corner of W Third and Patterson, heading towards the cemetery, and you look to your left (Wheeler Mission direction) you will see this box in the gras. It is across from the big The Quarters sign.

There are trash & recycling bins left in the street several days after Wednesday pick-up blocking obstructing traffic and blocking parking spaces. I am one of the only remaining home-owners and often need to find a parking space blocks away. When trying to find a place to park this morning there were 27 bins in the middle of the road just on this block. Can the students & landlord please be informed of their responsibility.

I am writing to report a systemic reliability issue with Bloomington Transit. The bus on Route 2 (West 11th St) is consistently running late. Because of these daily delays, I am unable to make my connecting transfer at the Downtown Transit Center.Missing this transfer causes a severe domino effect. It makes me significantly late for work, creates ongoing conflicts with my employer, and directly jeopardizes my current and future employment.
When I called Bloomington Transit to report this, the representative inappropriately suggested I "take an earlier bus" or "take an Uber." Route 2 already runs on a limited schedule, and relying on expensive rideshare services is financially unsustainable. It completely defeats the purpose of public infrastructure.
I am requesting that the Operations Manager or Route Scheduler investigate the Route 2 timeline. The schedule needs to be adjusted so that riders can reliably make their connections at the Transit Center without being stranded.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Whether it is a lack of security, conflicting facility uses, gaps in weekend/night service, or inefficient route layouts, the city's response is always to shift the burden, safety risks, and financial costs onto the citizen. I need Bloomington Transit and city oversight to address these operational bottlenecks and provide a reliable, safe, and direct service that actually supports working-class residents.

Transients are laying on the b-line between 7th and 8th Streets. They are obviously passed out. I believe this is illegal and should be stopped.

Hi - there is a massively overgrown yard at this location and the weeds are blocking full access to the sidewalk. To make matters more challenging, the weeds have burrs on them that have hurt our dog. Thank you for your help!

The mowing crew continues to blow debris onto my property from the b-link trail and they are mowing my property that has already been mowed. I've stopped them in the past and they had attitude when I asked them to blow up the hard surfaces. Please have them return and blow off all the clippings and tell them to do it the other direction, which seems to be common sense, going forward. Thank you. ~Lori @ Choice Realty

The easement on the south west side of the roundabout in front of Bentley Court is so overgrown that the vegetation is impending on the sidewalk. Additionally, it is impossible to walk a bike up the hill next to the sidewalk because of the vegetation. The steps continue to pitch steeper and steeper each years. Please investigate who is responsible for clearing this overgrowth and devise a plan to build and accessible path to connect the paths along Winslow to the Jackson Creek Trail/High Street Trail
