Truck in driveway, junk parts laying everywhere around it has not ran all summer. The last two to three weeks Truck in the street expired plates parked in the street, a car in the street on a jack no tire. This is dangerous for people driving through the neighborhood and an eye sore.
I respectfully request a dismissal of citation #26204900517. I paid for 1 hour and 10 minutes of parking at 11:48 AM. My paid time was valid until 12:58 PM. However, the citation was issued at 11:56 AM, only eight minutes after I arrived and well before my paid time expired. This clearly indicates that the meter did not register the coins correctly. I kindly request verification of the meter’s transaction records for space 609B, as well as any available camera footage for that area, which will confirm that I paid for my parking time. I also have a disability parking placard. Although Bloomington requires payment at metered spaces, I always pay to comply with the rules. In this case, I paid correctly and still received a citation while my paid time was active. For these reasons, I respectfully request that this citation be reviewed and Thank you for your attention.
Overgrown easement
Multiple cars abandoned in driveway. The Nissan SUV has been there longer than the current tenant. They have been there for 2 years. In the past 2 weeks they towed up another car (Dodge charger) into the driveway that hasn't moved in the past 2 weeks. It's a nuisance to look at and quite frankly brings the property value down and potentially can cause rodents.
10th st from Woodlawn to park. Need to tree trimming hard to ride in the bike lane.
On the sidewalk along the north side of Weatherstone, there is a branch with a sharp edge at approximately eye level.
There are several dead branches and broken tree limbs along Kensington Place in Bloomington, likely caused by the recent storm. Could the City please inspect the area and remove the dead or broken branches? If possible, it would also be helpful to trim some of the overhanging branches to prevent additional limbs from falling. The branches are creating an issue along the street and some have been falling onto parked vehicles. Thank you for looking into this and helping make the street safer.
Good morning, I submitted a previous report about the condition of our street and was told that we are on a tentative list for repaving but that pothole repair would be done in the meantime. Nothing has been done. Our street is crumbling at the edges, has multiple potholes in a few places and has terrible ruts and bumps at the corner of Wylie Farm Rd and Azalea Ln. There is also a street sign that is nearly knocked over and the the medians are crumbling in some places. Neighbors have taken to weeding and mulching some of the medians on their own dime since no one at the city seems to claim responsibility for them. I understand funds are tight and resources are limited though I would appreciate some attention be paid to the neighborhoods of our community. Thank you, Heather
The intersection at Covenanter Drive and College Mall Road has a lot of gravel on it right now, mainly from what I saw on the east side of the intersection, in the lane of travel and crosswalk on Covenanter east of the lanes of College Mall. This spot is covered in sand and gravel after most rain storms it seems. I report this as a hazard for cyclists frequently. It also creates a hazard for vehicles not getting traction. The first issue is this needs cleaned up now, but the bigger issue is looking into the root cause and maybe there is a way to divert some water flow or clean up some gravel pit nearby to prevent this from being an ongoing issue? Potholes at bottom of hill and up near Greenbrier and Georgetown rd. The whole road needs to be repaved.
