Motorcycle parked on sidewalk
Hello, I am inquiring on clarification to a resolution on case #191206. It was reporting extended no parking zones along the intersections of 8th and Indiana. The yellow paint extended an extra three to five feet, removing parking spots for one or two cars. The afmormentioned message is in the attached file. The resolution states that the curb has been corrected and there will be updated neighborhood signs, but what does that mean? Thank you.

My report on parking ticket processes was closed but not resolved. My request was to look into the PROCESS not get the same information that I got before (photo of ticket on my car).
I received a notice in the mail of an overdue parking citation. It had been issued on 6/20/24 and the notice said that I had failed to pay it within 14 days, so the fine was now doubled. However, I never saw the parking ticket on my car, and I never received any other notice that I had received a ticket. I do not think that this is a fair system, as parking tickets left on cars can be tampered with by other people. I have paid this parking ticket, but I'd like you to look into this policy and consider changing it so that there is some way to ensure that the person receiving a ticket actually sees it in time to pay it before it is doubled. This handicap meter is blocked by a bike rack that makes it difficult to pay the meter.
We received a parking citation used debit card and put it on the wrong side. My wife called and explained to parking department and informed they can check the meter by computer and see if our debit card was used at that time? My wife also submitted debit card picture where it was paid and amount. Informed to file an appeal and it can be checked. A few days later received email appeal denied? We paid the fine but apparently nothing was checked? Maybe bad information? Thanks for listening Mike
There is a vehicle that parks on the sidewalk at this location almost daily, preventing bike and foot traffic from utilizing the sidewalk.
The ‘no parking’ zones were recently repainted for street parking off 8th and Indiana. It seems that the no parking designated zone was extended 3-5 feet. Was there a reason for this? Now, there is even more limited street parking, and it’s going to be a warzone when the rest of the students move in come August.
