Parking Meters and Citations:

Other: What am I misunderstanding here? This is the violation (I believe) that parking enforcement is unable to find repeatedly. Is parking this far out into the street this close to an intersection allowed? If you check, I think you'll find the public right of way cuts basically due West from here landing about mid way along the car. I'm pretty sure this 'space' isn't legal and shouldn't exist; I suspect it's too wide for code and it has to be too close to the intersection. This car has been parked exactly like this since at least 6am (I assume overnight, maybe yesterday). The three cars at this address take turns parking in this spot like this most days. I'm reminded of this past May when there was a car parked on the front lawn of 506 E Wylie (basically across the street from here) and Parking Enforcement kept saying they couldn't see it.

Thank you for reaching out and for providing the additional information and photo. We understand your concern, especially given that you have observed vehicles parking in this location regularly. Parking Enforcement has reviewed the area multiple times and, based on our observations, we have not found a parking violation that would allow us to issue a citations. While the vehicle may appear to be parked farther into the roadway than expected, the location does not currently meet the criteria for a parking violation that we can enforce. We will continue to keep an eye on the location when our officers are in the area. If conditions change or a specific violation is observed, we will address it accordingly.
