West Kirkwood Avenue Improvements Project

Project Summary:

This project is expected to include the following:

• Replace the existing traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Rogers Street and Kirkwood Avenue.
• Resurface the asphalt roadway along Kirkwood Avenue from Pine Street to Rogers Street.
• Replace and improve pedestrian curb ramps and crosswalks along Kirkwood Avenue from Pine Street to Rogers Street.
• Improve visibility along Kirkwood Avenue through minor on-street parking updates such as restricting parking near intersections.
• Address an existing pattern of crashes by restricting left turn movements from alleys and driveways located between Jackson Street and Rogers Street.
• Construct minor stormwater drainage improvements.

Kimley-Horn & Associates Inc. is the engineering design consultant for this project.
