Project Summary:
This project is expected to include the following:
- Replace the existing traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Rogers Street and Kirkwood Avenue.
- Resurface the asphalt roadway along Kirkwood Avenue from Pine Street to Rogers Street.
- Replace and improve pedestrian curb ramps and crosswalks along Kirkwood Avenue from Pine Street to Rogers Street.
- Improve visibility along Kirkwood Avenue through minor on-street parking updates such as restricting parking near intersections.
- Address an existing pattern of crashes by restricting left turn movements from alleys and driveways located between Jackson Street and Rogers Street.
- Construct stormwater drainage improvements, potentially including green infrastructure features.
Kimley-Horn & Associates Inc. is the engineering design consultant for this project.
