I’m wondering when the city is going to smooth something about the illegal camping inside, outside, and all around RCA park and in the woods north of Cherokee Dr. There is a continuous line of homeless, all day and night, with luggage, carts, and camping gear going back through the neighborhoods. They scream, fight, harass, and throw garbage everywhere and the mayor let them camp here so they still think it’s ok even though it is clearly illegal. They’ve also been burning garage and plastic the past 4 nights, which wait for it, is also illegal. Seriously, the mayor ran on addressing this problem and letting them destroy a different neighborhood is not a solution. We have little to no police presence over here and these people have been breaking multiple laws including trespassing as well. What are you guys doing about any of this?

Behind Lowe's on North Gates Drive: dirt/sand collection on sidewalk. Very hard to navigate in wheelchair when dry. I'd imagine it's a mud puddle when wet.

Multiple large items curbside. Maybe they are hoping passers by will be interested in water logged broken furniture?

Potholes, Other Street Repair

The newly installed speed bump on W. Patterson Dr. is poorly constructed and poses a serious hazard to both drivers and their vehicles. The transition from the speed bump back onto the roadway is so abrupt and uneven that even driving over it at a reasonable speed can cause significant impact. Unfortunately, I know this firsthand, as I drove over it at a reasonable speed and it was enough to bend one of my vehicle’s wheels.
What makes this especially frustrating is that W. Patterson Dr. was closed for an extended period, yet many of its existing problems, which include potholes, severely rough pavement, and recessed manholes were not addressed. Instead, a new speed bump was installed so poorly that it has effectively created another roadway hazard.
A traffic-calming device should improve safety, not damage vehicles. I strongly urge the responsible department to inspect and correct this speed bump and its transition immediately before additional vehicles are damaged or someone is injured.
Accessibility Problem
Overpass crossing west Third at the trail

These two signs, where the trail crosses West Third, make no sense. Why is one sign telling pedestrians the sidewalk at College (presumably) is blocked and another one is telling them how to get to College? And if the sidewalk is blocked (as I believe it still is), why is there no sign telling people how to get to an accessible path, as required by the ADA? Please address this common problem. Thanks.
