Hello, My yard waste bin didn't get emptied today (but trash and recycling pick-up went perfectly fine as usual!). Can someone send a truck to empty it? Curb was installed on East side of S Morton. 12” space between new curb and existing street was never backfilled.
The decorated utility box ar 2nd and College is in worse shape than the ones that have already been replaced. Are the plans for a new one? It's in a location where it's likely to get vandalized, but it had problems before then The box it replaced had bold colors and simple designs (including a peacock and a fighting fish). That I think is best for drive-by viewing. Bob Ross with a head full of happy trees was clever but too fussy. There was not design at all for the sidewalk facing side. On top of that, the painting began too late in the season and had to be interrupted. That may have contributed to how fast it deteriorated. So, please, opt for a SIMPLE design in BOLD colors, and approve a design that covers ALL SIDES of the box in a UNIFIED way. (And allow time for the painting to be done without interruption). I drive by that box frequently and its condition in a prominent location is distressing. Thanks!
There are 3 neighborhood lights that no longer light up. I couldn’t find 2 of the lights on the Duke Energy map so I’m reporting it here. One light is under a large oak tree with stickers 15 21, which I have attached a photo of. There’s another light nearby with MNI6224 on it that doesn’t work either. Across the parking lot of the oak tree light is a light with stickers 15 23 on it that also doesn’t work.
In Swickard park in the community garden - water is just flowing out of the spigot. Don’t know if it’s broken or just stuck on.
My name is Sophie Hosei and I have been attending Indiana University as an undergrad student. I have chronic orthopedic health issues that have caused me to withdraw from school. My last surgery was a donor knee graft transplant on 7/7/26 and after 6 weeks of bed rest, the surgery was not successful and requires more operations. I have another surgery now scheduled for this Friday, 10/30/26, where I will be temporarily disabled for at least another 8 weeks. I signed a year lease with Town Manor at 314 E Smith Ave, Bloomington, IN. 47401 and have asked to be released from the lease due to this ongoing medical disability. The house is not ADA compliant and post surgery, I will be limited to the bed, then wheelchair, and then crutches for several weeks. My future state is mobility is completely unknown. Aaron Vaughn, property manager said we can only sublet the room and although we have attempted to do so, we have been unsuccessful. This is mostly due to the room not really being a typical room set up. It is a loft, where you can only go up via a narrow spindle staircase. There is no door (its just an open room) or closet and you can’t fully stand up because it’s a low ceiling heigh. No one wants to rent it. I am hoping someone can help me get released from the lease completely, while not affecting the other 3 roommates who are on the lease as well. Thank you in advance.

I rent the neighboring property. There is a severe water leak at 819 S Graywell that has flooded my back yard which I am trying to divert into the street. American Leak Detection has notified the person residing here about the water leak coming out of the ground on his property is unable to respond/repair. My house is downhill from this and my yard and the neighbors are being affected.
There is no sidewalk here, so people walk on the street. This is especially dangerous when people are walking on the street at night because there are no streetlights to illuminate them. Please consider adding a sidewalk for people to use as I've witnessed numerous close calls.
