The alley at the end of my townhouse building is not plowed and it is a fire hazard because no cars can exit and no one can get through. I called our leasing agent, Omega, and they said that it is not their responsibility to plow that area. They did plow the parking lot portion, but they said that that alley is the responsibility of the city of Bloomington. We know that you are dealing with a lot with the snowstorm, but we wanted to bring it to your attention because we are not able to leave our parking area.

All sidewalks adjacent to Pizza X property are completely unshoveled. But of course, their parking lot is cleared.
On the north side of E. 19th Street – from N. Walnut Street to N. Dunn Street – almost every sidewalk is either completely unshoveled or shoveled so poorly that walking safely is very difficult. Several of these property owners were already warned during the last large snowfall. PLEASE FINE THEM.
Snow has not been cleared from the mixed-use path along South Rogers. Thank you for all you do.
Please please please clear off some of the metered parking between 2nd and 3rd streets. I had to park blocks away from my residence, then will have to walk every day in the freezing cold at 5am to get to my vehicle until there are enough spots there.
The B-line crossing at Rogers (near 10th & Rogers) needs to be plowed. It's been too many years for Parks & Rec to not know that the intersections are a key component of the network. The mud-slush-ice-snow-curb crossing south of the official crossing is a travesty.
There is one block of South Waldron Street —south of Kirkwood-that never gets plowed. And the intersection with Kirkwood has had multiple (5 and counting) cars turn south onto Kirkwood and get stuck, right behind my parked car. So the deep snow and ruts from all that is making getting my car out more problematic. I’m a senior citizen, so kind of waiting for the street to be plowed before getting someone to dig me out.
Sidewalk on the south side of 3rd street between College Ave and the B-line is still covered in snow. It's adjacent to the convention center, 302 S College Ave. The photo shows where pedestrians have already been walking in the deep snow. The landowner needs to be fined for chronic non-compliance. In past years, the only way this sidewalk has been cleared is when City Council members brought it up in public, but ensuring compliance is actually the job of staff, not electeds. Chronic non-compliance requires dogged enforcement!! Thanks!
