I rent the neighboring property. There is a severe water leak at 819 S Graywell that has flooded my back yard which I am trying to divert into the street. American Leak Detection has notified the person residing here about the water leak coming out of the ground on his property is unable to respond/repair. My house is downhill from this and my yard and the neighbors are being affected.
We have had a couple flooding in the basement here coming from the shower drain. A plumber who looked at it suggested that there may be a buildup - or at least a tendency to build up - in the pipes at or around the transfer to the city pipes. Is there any way for this to determine whether or not the root cause of the flooding is a problem with the city pipes, or the home plumbing? Thank you for your time
There is a new asphalt patch in Olive street after recent utility work that is insufficiently high to fill the gap, and therefore is hazardous to bicyclists. This is part of a larger pattern of asphalt patches being applied inadequately along the Hawthorne-Weatherstone and Thornton-Arden bikeways. I appreciate that the city went back and addressed the bad patches on Hawthorne at southdowns and on Thornton between Highland and Maxwell after I reported them, but I would prefer if the patches could be done well the first time.
The drainage ditch along Eagleson overgrows with noxious weeds. I have just meticulously weeded and swept it, and was wondering if it could be tarred or sealed in some way, to reduce cracks where soil is exposed and weeds can take hold. ..? Can the homeowner do this? Or is this city property? Any products/advice would be welcome.
The growth of weeds/tree saplings are creating debri in the storm sewer bordering my house. This is causing blockages and preventing the normal flow of the storm sewer water.

We have been experiencing sewer gas smell primarily in our master bathroom shower for the last 2-3 weeks, especially in the morning. We have only lived at this location for a year and 4 months. We experienced it around the same time last year. A neighbor suggested we reach out to let the City know since she believes the City needs to do something with the sewer system which is out front of our home on S. Springhouse Drive to "clean it out"?? We have also noticed this past week while walking in the Renwick neighborhood that you can smell sewer gas in various parts of the neighborhood as well. Thank you for addressing this issue.
At least one sewer grate on the south side of CC needs a clean-up, especially one that looks like it has a shrub growing out of it unless that's growing out of the road. For location, it seems it's closer to Banta but I don't know which house it's in front of without driving past again so I guessed. I don't know the correct technology from the 3 choices below.
