We are looking into the signal operation and understand the frustration of being stopped when there does not appear to be traffic entering from Deborah Drive. We have also logged your concern about drivers using the eastbound right lane to pass queued traffic before merging. We do not currently have a project planned to extend or remove the second eastbound lane. Either change would need to be considered as part of a broader safety and traffic review, particularly because this area is close to the interstate and involves INDOT jurisdiction. We will keep the concern on record for consideration if a future project or coordination with INDOT provides an opportunity to review the lane configuration.
