Duke Energy cuts down trees on private property without regard to whether or not it is needful to do so. They damage private property, leave fences open or damaged, and leave trash behind. They need to be checked by the city before we have no trees left.
Blocked Street
N Washington St
- Case Date:
- 12/16/2025
I understand that there are projects being done next to North Washington, but this is a residential street with people who live here and need to leave for class and other obligations. There are many times we cannot leave in time or the road is blocked due to an abundant amount of trucks And other work vehicles. This project has been going on for a long time. It’s blocking parking spots overnight and preventing us from leaving and coming back to our homes easily. It’s preventing our trash from being taken. There are many weeks where our trash never gets taken because of the blockage. there needs to be better solutions to this.

Speed limit on Patterson Drive is still 40, from the old truck route to RCA. Should be 30.
Traffic Related Complaints
Rogers St & Hillside Dr @ Community Kitchen
- Case Date:
- 10/7/2025
Construction project that was set to begin 8/20/25 started out of nowhere on 10/6/25, putting Rogers to northbound traffic only. If you do try to go northbound, there is to be a flagger at the Novo Nordisk entrance, but this morning there was not one. Traffic backed up going northbound, and traffic was still coming southbound. Thus, things were at a standstill as there was no flagger from Crider & Crider (company logo I noticed on trucks) to direct traffic. Would like to know when this project will last as it didn't start on time and there was no notice that the southbound lane would be completely closed, even to those of us who live in the area.

From 3rd street to Highkand Park Elementary, the sidewalks have not been cleared of snow. Our students are walking in the street and/or over large mounds of snow. I am concerned fire our students safety while washing to school.
I would appreciate any help in having the sidewalks cleared.

S Walnut Street & W Grimes Lane, Bloomington, Indiana
- Case Date:
- 11/12/2025
At 3:54 pm today, an emergency vehicle was approaching this intersection from the south (with lights and sirens) and a white BT SUV turned from W Grimes Lane onto N Walnut Street. The emergency vehicle turned west onto W Grimes Lane, making their paths a close call. This is just a friendly reminder for them to stop and yield rather than turn right before the emergency vehicle reaches the intersection.
Accessibility Problem
Several locations near downtown
- Case Date:
- 2/2/2026
More than a week after the snow stopped, I encountered many terrible sidewalks today. Just a few: west side of Rogers, between Kirkwood and 4th, around Regions bank on Kirkwood and Rogers, in front of the Gables house, along the Indian restaurant at the corner of Sixth and Walnut and from the steakhouse to the trail on 6th street.
Also, can you please, please require that the sidewalk be cleared to the street? Often, the sidewalks are decent, but then you have to climb over a slippery mound at the corner as you approach oncoming traffic. Definitely a hazard.
Please do better. Thank you.
