I frequently drive through the intersection of Hillside and Henderson, often approaching it from the south (on Henderson). I hope the city can consider putting a "No Right on Red" sign there. This intersection has students from Templeton and South High School as pedestrians and cyclists (and from South as drivers). When you are turning right/east from Henderson onto Hillside, you do not have visibility until you have pulled forward into the crosswalk across Henderson. Because of the difficulty seeing if you have a clearing, I can imagine someone wanting to speed into a right turn...but it is a very populated corner with Feast there and apartments and Templeton close by, and pedestrians in the crosswalk could be at risk. I have counseled my daughter, who is learning to drive, not to try to turn right until the light turns green (and to wait to signal till then). If you have your turn signal on, people behind you can get impatient...a stressful situation for a new driver. And since there is a lot of traffic going to and from the high school, this intersection has a high concentration of new drivers. A friend of hers on a bike was hit last year at that intersection.

We have had multiple incidents on our street due to people driving too fast and visibility issues for drivers coming out of E Allendale Road. A car flipped and landed at the entrance of Barkley Square apartments, a car went off road striking the corner of a carport and edge of a house, a woman was killed after striking a moving vehicle and most recently a young woman struck our walnut tree at the edge of our driveway suffering a concussion and a broken arm. Totaled her car and the other driver’s car was damaged badly but her airbags seemed to have prevented injury. We, as well as our neighbors have had to replace our mailboxes several times. It is a matter of time before someone on the sidewalk is struck and killed. I have not seen police stopping speeders on our street for some time. I believe some type of traffic calming devices would help as no one drives the 30 mph speed limit on this road.

This Subaru has been parked continuously from December 9th/Tueday a.m. through December 11th/Thursday pm, then parked in the same spot later December 11/Thursday p.m to December 12/Friday as I submit this report.The license plate is “Indiana LWDBB”. I simply want this to be documented with the City of Bloomington .I have other photos of this Subaru with time stamps for each day and I suspect this car managed to be moved just short of the 72 hour threshold for a car being tagged as a possibly being abandoned. FWIW, this is a chronic problem on the 900 south block of Eastside Drive. We have cars parked daily/overnight and these are students that live in the Maxwell Terrace apartments and avoid an added monthly parking fee by Maxwell Terrace by using Eastside Drive as their free open air parking 24/7. The daily numbers swell as the academic year advances. I’m not expecting any action on this car from Parking Enforcement. I just want the information to be documented for future issues. Vehicles driving east on Grimes often stop in the middle of the road (rather than in their "lane") at the stop sign at Woodlawn. This makes it impossible to turn onto Grimes from Woodlawn until they have moved on, leading to difficult and unpredictable traffic situations. Would it be possible to put a center line here on Grimes, just for the intersection and the approach to it? To encourage drivers on Grimes to be in their lane when they stop at the intersection.

Need street-surface traffic direction arrows painted in the 2 lanes of S. Clarizz heading north. I have seen people make the right-hand lane into a left-hand turn onto East 3rd St. Please see pic of suggested arrows. The yellow marks are the direction available besides a right turn. Tx!

Yesterday (Thursday 25 Sept) at 5:15pm, a Ford Bronco turned *North* (left) onto Dunn from 10th Street (against the one-way direction), traveled north at a high rate of speed several blocks, and then pulled into the parking lot of 820 N. Dunn. During this illegal maneuver, another car that was traveling south on Dunn (the correct direction) had to pull over to avoid a collision. The driver might not have known he was committing a violation because that intersection is not clearly marked "Do Not Enter". Maybe a sign should be put up there to make sure that careful drivers know it is one-way.

Hello! For accessibility purposes I am requesting a permanent trail marker on the rail trail pictured. It can be challenging for some individuals to navigate to the entrance and exit of the rail trail pictured. This entrance is behind 433 w somersbe, however I am requesting a marker on the public trail to denote what portion this is on the trail. It would be greatly appreciated if this marker included large characters for the visually impaired. I appreciate your review of this request and consideration. Thank you.

During a Weed Wrangle at Clear Creek, we came upon some large debris that was too much for us to carry out. I've included a pic of the debris. The pile can be found near the creek. My geographical coordinates when I stood near the pile were: 39°08'05.7"N 86°33'40.4"W. To get there, follow the paved path south of the Tapp Rd parking lot for about 0.10 miles. There is a foot path that heads west into the woods. Follow the path until it's past the limestone blocks, then head north off the path toward the creek. The red cooler is easy to spot now that the leaves are down.
