One of the bluebird scooters was left here three days ago on the sidewalk. Someone needs to come and get it. I contacted bird 48 hours ago.

Dear City of Bloomington Traffic and Transportation Department, I am writing on behalf of The Fields Apartments to formally request a traffic safety evaluation and improvements along Fenbrook Lane and Covenanter Drive within our apartment community. We have become increasingly concerned about the number of vehicles traveling at excessive speeds along these streets. With our community continuing to grow and welcoming more families with children, pedestrian safety has become a significant concern for both residents and management. We have received multiple requests from residents asking that speed bumps or other traffic-calming measures be installed to help reduce vehicle speeds and create a safer environment for everyone. These streets are frequently used by residents walking their pets, families with young children, and individuals enjoying our community's outdoor spaces. The continued speeding presents an unnecessary risk, and we would like to take proactive steps to address this issue before an accident occurs. We respectfully request that the City evaluate these roadways and consider the installation of speed bumps, speed humps, or other appropriate traffic-calming measures to encourage drivers to slow down. The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority, and we believe these improvements would make a meaningful difference in protecting our growing community. Please let us know the appropriate process for submitting this request, whether a traffic study is required, and what steps may be necessary to move forward. There is a vehicle that has been parked here without being moved for over 2 months now, and it has been reported multiple times with nothing being done about it. It’s parked quite far out into the street and takes up multiple parking spaces. It is a brown/green truck with the license plate number AA315D.

The alley/easement in the back of the property has asphalt that has been broken up due to the repeated use from the convention center equipment driving through the alley. Could you schedule a crew to replace the chewed up asphalt?

Pothole in the street at the curb directly in front of 2409 E Oakmont Dr. It's about 3 feet wide, with broken asphalt and loose chunks. The city recently filled other potholes in the neighborhood but missed this one. Please send a crew back to fill it. Photos attached.

Dead tree has fallen on the multi use trail about 5 days ago and has been tape off but not clean up. Thus the path is not useable. There are communications line down but no power lines. When will this be cleaned up?

I just moved into my home in April 2026, and I thought that Sherwood Oaks was a safe neighborhood. However, in the past few months I have lived here, I have witnessed several close calls with cars excessively speeding down Allendale, most notably in front of my house, almost hitting pedestrians and bicyclists, including children. I know the neighborhood has rallied together to try to get traffic calming devices installed, such as speed humps, and I understand why that is not favorable. But could the City at least put up speed limit signs along Allendale to remind drivers to slow down? A fawn was recently hit in front of my house due to a car speeding down the road. Renter is constantly leaving trash bags on ground and on Holiday Halloween today
