Multiple unshielded lights causing glare and trespass, left on around the clock. This is an ongoing problem, now there is an additional light. East and south side of the house causing light trespass Light trespass Glare. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so as not to cause glare at or beyond the property line and shall not be aimed toward traffic. Shielding Light Trespass. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so that light trespass from any property line, except a property line abutting a public street, shall not exceed two footcandles at a point one meter beyond the property line.

Recently expanded a gravel driveway to be much wider than I believe is allowed - along Dunn. There is another driveway just north of this one on Dunn which also appears to have been expanded. Both appear to be for multiple car parking for a multi-tenant house.

Recently installed lighting fixture on the south side of this house is unshielded with the lighting element completely visible and unshielded, causing glare and light trespass on neighboring property. This light has been on for over 48 hours now, and after dark is disruptive. This violates city code.

Sidewalk ends at my property (4151) and west to Smith road. Unsafe for pedestrians to be in the "walking" or "bike path" on this road. Unsafe for drivers. Suggest you put sidewalk in on my side, and return the road lanes out here to 4 instead of 2. There are too many wrecks coming in right over this hill because of traffic coming east off 46 into town and over this hill and it is always backed up from light at smith road. Light on south side of house facing neighboring property is completely unshielded, with lighting element completely visible causing glare and light trespass on neighboring property. It is left on all night, and illuminates neighboring property even through room darkening curtains. This is in violation of city code: (5) Glare. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so as not to cause glare at or beyond the property line and shall not be aimed toward traffic. (A) Shielding. i. All lighting fixtures, except motion detector-activated lighting, shall be fully shielded so that the lighting element is not visible to an observer at any property line, except as stated otherwise in this Section 20.04.090 (Outdoor Lighting). ii. Unless otherwise specified, all lighting fixtures shall be full cutoff type as installed. iii. A lighting fixture may beam light upward only if all upward light is reflected back down by a canopy, roof, or other such structure. Please ticket and enforce. Also full trash cans are left out all week.

Problem reported earlier (#202303). Was 'Resolved' with the justification that the vehicle is located in a driveway. A driveway seems to me the 'private property' referred to in the Municipal Code section below. The license plate is expired. Owner recently replaced the 1975 plate with a newer one, but it still is an expired plate (2016). Vehicle has been there for at least 30 years. No one in the street can remember seeing it ever been used. 15.04.020 (6), definition of an Abandoned Vehicle. A vehicle that is three or more model years old and mechanically inoperable, and is left on private property continuously in a location visible from public property for more than twenty days.

There is a nuisance light in a box attached to pole 814 6521 on Morton Street in the narrow greenway between the B-line and Morton, opposite the driveway to the all red house next to the Bloomington Center for Connection. It creates glare all over the neighborhood and directly into my house. It is not part of the street light system. I have photos on my phone but don't know how to attach them to this file. I believe it should come down. Thank you.
