Homeless camps Tons of trash
Hello: I am sick of seeing these vagrants walking by my house at the corner of College Street and West Hillside Drive. I spoke to an officer last Tuesday and requested more police car drive by’s, evidently it is not working. I appreciate it, if more police cars can be visible in this neighborhood, behind the Switchyard Park, which drives them in. Please put a barrier on College Street and the South Side of the park by the Walnut Street side of the SWITCHYARD Park Parking Lot where the vagrants enter and exit with back packs and bicycles going through the Railroad Park neighborhood where your police department and YOU ignore for safety. I’ve reported this issue to Governor Braun, Erin Houchin US Representative of the House of Representatives and US Senator Todd Young. Please feel free to visit me at 117 W.Hillside Drive in your fair city for a front yard porch chat to watch all the “traffic “ go by my house. Thank you, Maryann Iaria 117 W. I witnessed this officer using an extraordinary amount of verbal and physical force when arresting this man for riding the wrong way down walnut. The amount of unbridled rage displayed publicly by this officer driving car 1263 is dangerous and should be investigated thoroughly.
Can the City go out to make sure the woods all along the entire length of the Rail Trail from Country Club to Gordon Pike are clear of homeless camps? These were all evicted previously and there may be people living on the City property again. This morning there were multiple men screaming and yelling obscenities at each other back in the woods along the trail. This is dangerous for everyone who uses the trail, as it is a secluded, wooded area that has had a ton of safety issues previously. This area has had fights, frequent searches for wanted people who have committed all manner of crimes, weapons have been found in those camps, and there was deemed to be a serious fire hazard. I have smelled some smoke recently, suggesting their may be illegal burning happening again. Do not let this problem continue, as it was already dealt with and needs to be routinely enforced. These encampments are a serious danger.
Trash bag of stuff in the bike racks where bikes s we old park.
Construction leaving dirt and rocks from side walk and drive way around the roundabout and made my motorcycle slipped and caused damage to me and my motorcycle. IT HURT. now i have to fix some stuff on my bike
Police car #1249 left running in the parking lot as officer went grocery shopping and showed pictures from his phone of a vacation with Kroger staff. Officer then ran a stop sign as he left the parking lot. Presumably the police are not above reproach?
Someone needs to get the Rogers Street construction closures under control, preferably before school and work lets out today. It is chaos. Contractor is clearly not concerned about safety. There are going to be accidents. Talked to someone in Engineering this morning, but the situation has not improved at all. Please look into this ASAP. Thank you for your help.
What is going on at the City owned property on S. Walnut Street by the public safety training center that large equipment is running at 8:47pm? Last night they were going after 9pm. Why is the City operating heavy equipment at these late hours?
Went for a walk with my partner and pup, ended up using my shirt as a compress for a dying man. Sorry for the smart comment, but maybe it’s time to figure out how to tackle the balance of compassionate treatment of the transient population with public safety. My girlfriend will be processing the trauma for days and Howe St has become a thoroughfare.
