Other: Police car #1249 left running in the parking lot as officer went grocery shopping and showed pictures from his phone of a vacation with Kroger staff. Officer then ran a stop sign as he left the parking lot. Presumably the police are not above reproach?

Thank you for your message. Police are also accountable to stop at stop signs. We consulted video footage but were unable to verify the stop sign drive-through. Regardless, this has been discussed with the officer, including the idling vehicle. Officers are asked to form positive relationships with the public, especially in high police traffic areas, so we are not concerned with a little small talk. Thank you again.
