The yellow flashing pedestrian lights are not working at this corner
The yellow flashing pedestrian lights are not working at this corner
The light at Rockport and Tapp is severely mis-timed. The issue seems to be recent. It is green far too long for the Rockport travelers and red far too long for the Tapp travelers. This is causing un-necessary backups on Tapp Rd. In the middle of the day, with very little traffic, cars still aren't all making it thru the light. During busier times, its backing up even longer, and for no logical reason, as the traffic on Rockport is very light I
Between 5am and 530am weekdays I travel west on SR46 and every morning the east/west traffic light on 46 is red, and the south/north N. Kinser light is green and there is no traffic (or rarely traffic) headed north or south, and the SR46 east/west traffic is forced to sit and wait for no good reason. If there are sensors for traffic at this intersection would it be possible, during early morning hours, to allow east/west traffic to proceed unimpeded when there is no traffic driving south/north on N Kinser? Thanks for your time
this light appears to be mis-timed or not functioning properly to allow normal flow of traffic. I drive this intersection multiple times per day and it consistently stops E/W traffic when there is no traffic on N/S side, no pedestrian pushing the walk button. this causes E/W traffic to back up.
The stop lights at the intersection of curry pike and Gifford road are not timed correctly, and are switching rapidly from green to red in intervals of less than a few seconds and the railroad warning lights are coming on randomly
Westbound from Gifford light stays red. Other lights turn red then immediately turn green.
Back ups every day headed eastbound on 3rd. It takes 2-3 light rotations to get through. This is a relatively new problem.
Traffic light is out
Going through the light at Adam’s and 2nd street heading east/west bound, the light only stays green long enough for 4 cars to get through and is backing up traffic.
Light timing is horrible at this intersection. Traffic on 2nd is forced to wait a full signal cycle for few (if any) cars on Adams, and it’s been like that for months. Often, the light timing issues also compound with the 2nd and Patterson intersection, which has its own design issues. Today (4/27/2025), the timing was somehow even worse than usual, causing a major backup.
