The elevator in my building at 321 S Walnut st has been out of order for over 4 months with no access to a service elevator. I can’t walk up 6 flights to get to my apartment multiple times a day

I was awakened at 6:30 this morning (during quiet hours) by dogs barking in the back yard at 1432 Winfield Rd. I tried to go back to sleep but the dogs were barking again a little before 7am. Then they were barking at 7:21am. Then they were barking at 7:35am. So much for getting any more sleep.

For approximately three weeks, the tenant in Unit 6 (Jessiah) has repeatedly allowed his dog to defecate in the shared common area directly outside my unit without removing the waste. I have documented this behavior weekly and provided photos to the property manager. The issue has not been resolved. There are currently approximately 15–20 instances of dog waste in the common area. The accumulation is creating odor issues and interfering with normal use of the space. I have video documentation showing the dog defecating and the owner leaving without removal. I have spoken with the tenant previously about his dog and can confirm it belongs to him. I have also overheard him state that he does not pick up his dog’s waste. I am requesting enforcement of the city ordinance requiring pet owners to remove animal waste.

Hello: I am sick of seeing these vagrants walking by my house at the corner of College Street and West Hillside Drive. I spoke to an officer last Tuesday and requested more police car drive by’s, evidently it is not working. I appreciate it, if more police cars can be visible in this neighborhood, behind the Switchyard Park, which drives them in. Please put a barrier on College Street and the South Side of the park by the Walnut Street side of the SWITCHYARD Park Parking Lot where the vagrants enter and exit with back packs and bicycles going through the Railroad Park neighborhood where your police department and YOU ignore for safety. I’ve reported this issue to Governor Braun, Erin Houchin US Representative of the House of Representatives and US Senator Todd Young. Dear City Department / Fleet Supervisor, I am writing to report a near-miss incident involving a City vehicle that occurred on 2/16/2026 at approximately 9:41am at the intersection of Stipp Rd, Handy Rd, and Moffett Rd. I was traveling from Stipp Rd toward Moffett Rd when a City vehicle pulled out from Handy Rd onto Moffett Rd at the same time I was proceeding through. It appeared that the driver may have misjudged the right-of-way or believed there was a stop sign controlling my direction of travel. As a result, I was forced to swerve and slam on my brakes to avoid a collision. Had I not reacted immediately, I likely would have either struck the City vehicle or ended up in the ditch on the right side of the roadway. The situation was extremely close and could have resulted in significant vehicle damage or serious injury. The City vehicle was described as: Vehicle type/color: Gray Ford Escape Plate Number: 100008 I am submitting this report out of concern for public safety and to help prevent a future accident by this individual. Residents of 524-C: loud music shaking walls and windows, drug odor, suspected underage drinking, singing, screaming, yelling all night every night (weekdays) often from roughly 8pm to between 3 and 6am.

Broken Large recycle container lid. I previously reported. Was told it would be fixed twice and it has not been. Original ticket was closed without action so I called again and was told it would be repaired last week and it was not. So, reporting again hoping issue will be taken care of. Could not reach anyone on phone this time.
