Planning staff observed a fence taller than 4 feet forward of the front building wall on the property. We will issue a Notice of Violation (NOV) Warning letter to the property, with the City's fencing standards, and an inquiry for more information on exact fence heights at the property. Please note, 6 feet is not the height limit set in City code. This appears to be a reported corner lot with a new fence installed. Staff can take a look as available to see if there is a code violation that can be addressed via our NOV processed outlined in Title 20/Bloomington Municipal Code.
