On Monday, Oct 12 I got home and discovered that my tires and wheel wells on the driver's side of my car were yellow. Caked on yellow paint, I assume from crossing street striping that was still wet. I drove on S Curry Pike from W 3rd St to the light just west of Walmart. There were no cones, no wet paint signs, nothing to indicate that the paint was wet.S Curry Pike is the only street I took that had recently been worked on so I'm guessing that's where it happened. If that section was recently painted someone forgot to put out signs or cones and I'm now having to pay to have it removed. Someone was negligent. Appreciate your attention.

There is a new asphalt patch in Olive street after recent utility work that is insufficiently high to fill the gap, and therefore is hazardous to bicyclists. This is part of a larger pattern of asphalt patches being applied inadequately along the Hawthorne-Weatherstone and Thornton-Arden bikeways. I appreciate that the city went back and addressed the bad patches on Hawthorne at southdowns and on Thornton between Highland and Maxwell after I reported them, but I would prefer if the patches could be done well the first time.

Slippery collection of loose asphalt

The existing speed bump on E. Covenanter Dr next to 2200 E. Covenanter Dr is so flat and worn that it no longer slows traffic — vehicles pass over it at full speed daily. My mailbox next to the bump has already been struck by a vehicle. I bike my children to school on this street almost daily, my kids walk our dog here, and other neighborhood children ride bikes on this section of road. Request: inspect the bump against city standards and rebuild/replace it to an effective profile with fresh markings and signage.

The street cuts that were made to put in the sewer lines for all of these new homes damaged the street and have not been repaired adequately. You need to hold the contractor responsible for fixing this newly paved road.

There was construction along the road earlier this year and the road/sidewalk area was never repaired. There is a huge drop off in front of my house. It is street parking that is now unavailable due to danger. There is also damage next to and under the sidewalk making it a safety hazard potentially collapsing. The entire street in in very bad need of repair.

The drainage ditch along Eagleson overgrows with noxious weeds. I have just meticulously weeded and swept it, and was wondering if it could be tarred or sealed in some way, to reduce cracks where soil is exposed and weeds can take hold. ..? Can the homeowner do this? Or is this city property? Any products/advice would be welcome.
