We understand there is currently more traffic in this area because of the construction detour, which can make the three-way stop feel more disruptive than under normal conditions. We do not plan to remove the stop sign at this time. It helps provide access for residents entering Winslow from the side street, particularly during periods of heavier traffic. Once the construction detour is over and traffic patterns return closer to normal, we can reevaluate the intersection to see whether the existing stop control is still appropriate.
