Purpose of the Committee
The committee consists of four Councilmembers whose purpose is to make recommendations to the full Council on the following matters:
- The internal processes and procedures of the Council and how the work of the Council can be more accessible, equitable, efficient, and transparent;
- Ways to optimize interactions between resident boards and commissions and the Council, in collaboration with the City Clerk and/or their designee; and
- Specific questions related to Council processes that are brought to the committee by the full Council.
Reports from the Committee
On December 8, 2023, the Committee approved of a Report on Board and Commission Reform.
The committee chair presented to the Council an annual report on 2024 activities on January 22, 2025.
