Resolution 23-16

This resolution is sponsored by Councilmember Flaherty. It expresses the Common Council's intent to increase the salary for the City Clerk. In that regard, the resolution requests that the Mayor pursue any necessary and appropriate action to effectuate the increase as part of the 2024 city budget. Note: At the September 6, 2023 Regular Session, the Council adopted Amendment OJ, which reduced the intended 2024 salary increase for the position of City Clerk by expressing the intent of the Council to fix the salary at $87,000. The amendment also made corresponding changes to Whereas clauses.
