Ordinance 2025-02

Ordinance 2025-02 establishes the Outdoor Dining Program for the use of parklets ( also known as streateries) and Kirkwood A venue as additional seating space and opportunities for businesses to expand into the street and suspends certain portion of the Bloomington Municipal Code in order to facilitate the Program. Note: At its Regular Session on January 22, 2025, the Council amended this item pursuant to Amendment 01, sponsored by Cms. Rosenbarger and Asare, which repealed and replaced the original ordinance with a new version that enabled both the park/et program and a Kirkwood conversion program to operate in the same manner as in previous years, mirroring language from Ordinance 22-01.
