Ordinance 23-14

This ordinance makes several changes to Title 6 of the BMC to bring the Title in line with changed local practice, to increase service fees, to clarify references, and to harmonize current practices with the City Code. Note: At the August 9, 2023 Regular Session, the Council adopted Amendment 01, which removed proposed escalating solid waste disposal service fees that would otherwise apply on January 1 of each year from 2025 to 2029. Am 01 itself was amended at the August 9, 2023 Regular Session to provide for a 3% increase to service fees each year on January 1st, beginning January 1, 2025.
