Bloomington Parks and Recreation and the Lake Monroe Sailing Association offer two types of sailing experiences: keel boat and small boat. Keel Boat: No previous sailing experience is required. Instruction includes rigging, sailing and docking keel boats approximately 25 long. This class is appropriate for those with limitations that make handling small boats difficult. Offerings include a two-day class for $350 or a three-day class for $600 that includes American Sailing Association certification.
