Position Description

Performs day to day maintenance of ballfields including watering, mowing, dragging and lining, trash removal, restroom cleaning and other duties as assigned by Sports Facility/Program Manager.

Education

High school education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience/Special Skills

Experience with grounds maintenance and experience with maintenance equipment (e.g. tractors and mowers) preferred but not required. Painting experience is preferred, but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be a self-starter and the desire to learn new skills. He or she will also have the ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions.

License/Certification

Driver's license preferred

Hours

Flexible schedule: 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday with evenings and weekends as required. The work week will average 30-36 hours, weather dependent, April through October.

Salary

$15.95-$16.15 per hour
