Cascades Golf Course Seeks Applicants for Advisory Council

Bloomington, Ind.-Cascades Golf Course, a 27-hole course owned and operated by the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy and serve the last six months of a two-year term on its advisory council.

The five-person volunteer Cascades Golf Course Advisory Council acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Park Commissioners regarding matters pertaining to Cascades Golf Course facilities, operations, and policies. Cascades Golf Course Advisory Council members promote the appropriate use of Cascades Golf Course and its facilities, and the positive health and social benefits of golfing, within the Bloomington community.

The Cascades Golf Course Advisory Council is comprised of five regular voting members who represent competitive golfers, recreational golfers, women's golf leagues, junior golfers, and golf course maintenance. Click here to see who is currently serving on the Cascades Golf Course advisory council.

Advisory council meetings are held up to six times per year.

Appointments to the Cascades Golf Course Advisory Council are made by the Board of Park Commissioners. To apply to serve, click here to fill out and submit the online application.

Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, July 25.
