About Morningside Farm

Melvin and Karen Reeves decided around 2007 that they wanted to grow their own food. Melvin was raised with farming, and didn't feel whole without it in his life. Melvin and Karen were also interested in having a relaxing job after retiring. On an acre of garden space and four greenhouses they grow an array of produce year round, including their popular collards and bok choy. The Reeves are known for their delicious heirloom tomatoes. They do not apply any chemical pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides to their produce. They look forward to coming to Saturday Market every week to interact with the Bloomington community.
