Holly Warren is an incredible member of this community has done an incredible job at the city of Bloomington ensuring artists feel supported and welcome. I’ve only ever felt uplifted and cared for under her and Chaz Motts lead. Dismissing her and siding with the abusive “artist” would be crime to this town and all the artists and queer people that make it a special place to live. Please do not punish Holly Warren for one citizen’s aggravated assault on queer people and her personal opinion on someone else’s beliefs. If you want more context to the harm this woman has caused queer people across so many artistic platforms feel free to reach out. She’s been lying and stringing things together to create a narrative that simply isn’t true.
The Johnson Creamery flooded again. I am a tenant in the building and after talking with the management company of the building, they indicated that the reason why the building floods regularly now is because of the way the drainage is designed. We walked around the back of the building (north side) and saw drainage that clearly can not handle the amount of run off coming from between 8th and 11th st buildings and parking lots. I'd like to request the city evaluate the options so this can be fixed. This building now floods several times a year, ruins furniture, initiates insurance claims, and disrupts business operations like mine. I will be unable to meet with clients and perform my job for several weeks while the building is cleaned out again.

Cars are constantly parked in the road and public right of way all day and night. Always along W Gourley Pike, across from the kinser apartments. This is a bad look, nuisance, and is not permitted but keeps being allowed to exist in a very public space where visitors from out of town see as they drive in. Please remove these cars before they do more damage to the surrounding sidewalks or cause an accident from a blocked roadway.
A large tree fell across the start of the Clear Creek trail at Irie Court near S Rogers & W That Road this morning. It is blocking the trail and will require chain saws to remove. Thank you.
