I understand that from the outside, without full context, it can be difficult to understand how a decision was reached. I can share, however, that the complaint you reference was not the cause of the dismissal. We follow established HR and legal procedures when reviewing workplace concerns. When policies or standards are found to have been violated, appropriate action is taken. We are grateful for the time and contributions these individuals made in service to the City and to the community. Our responsibility, however, is to uphold consistent standards as part of how we protect the integrity of our work and the trust placed in us.
