Yard, overgrown grass
Yard, overgrown grass
The storm drain here routinely clogs with leaves and floods this corner of the street. Me or neighbors have to unclog it constantly. Sometimes 3-4 times on a rainy day. Is there some engineering fix for this? A larger grate or different grate design perhaps? I fear one day I'll get electrocuted trying to clear this grate during a lightning storm. The alternative to risking death is letter my garage flood, which also seems unpleasant. Thanks!
Large depression in the street in the crosswalk. Need to enter road in the right of way of the cars with the green light in order to get around it.
Under the apartments of g building there is an old laundry room that is full of sewage and bodily waste
Trash or homeless camp in woods
A tree in the front of our house, between the street and sidewalk, has lost a big branch. It often has branches torn off by the garbage truck. This may be the case, as today was our garbage day. Could you please send someone to pick up the fallen branch at your earliest convenience. It is at the curb, and it is too big for us to handle and dispose off. Thank you!
Very deep pothole. Small diameter, but very deep. Surprised it didn’t pop my tire.
Street light is out
According to John Garzee’s response to Ureport #210034, “Cyclists traveling east-west are not being detected at the signal, so they have to use the pedestrian push button to get a green. The current equipment does not reliably detect bikes, and fixing this would require upgrading the detection system. We’ve noted the location, but until funding is available for that upgrade, the signal will not consistently turn green for people biking.” In light of this situation, are there resources available to make the pedestrian beg button accessible to cyclists? It is currently impossible for a cyclist to press the button without getting off the bike and walking to the sidewalk.
This issue was reported last year, taken up by a team of city employees, who communicated a plan would be shared when formed related to the fix. All follow-up inquiries through email and phone have been left unanswered. The stormwater management in the Hoosier Acres neighborhood on Brownridge rd. is insufficient east to west for the majority of the roadway on either side.
