Driveway gravel covering sidewalk. I have rectified this before when the volume was much smaller. It seem to be a defect, although it may meet code. Neither residents, nor owners/management are cognizant of the issue, apparently. They still haven't rectified the reported and NOVed light trespass issue either.

Both bins are overturned and spilling out trash, including a large headboard, onto street, environment, and fire department property. Tenants seem to have vacated. I believe Sarge is that property's manager, and the owner probably also owns Riverway Plumbing. Thanks. I know it's the cheap neighborhood, but geez.

Yesterday's press release from Mayor Thomson is so inappropriate. City council followed the law with regard to delaying the reading of the ordinance for the Hopewell South PUD. It's truly incredible that the mayor, and her staff apparently, believe it necessary to publicly attack council members for doing their due diligence and following procedures clearly laid out in city code. These kinds of public attacks are not engaging in good faith. Furthermore, to claim that the concerns raised by council were merely procedural in nature is simply dishonest. Cm. Stosberg raised valid concerns about the PUD document itself, citing incorrect references and inconsistent requirements. Those seem like pretty important concerns that might impact the "merit of the product", as the mayor put it.
"We are in a housing crisis, and the community should demand that its elected officials respond with urgency." The mayor is also an elected official. As a community member, I would like to demand that the mayor refrain from playing an immature blame game while attempting to rush a poorly prepared PUD through civic process. And yes, I am aware that the mayor stands by her statement.

Multiple reports have been made about this, not all associated with the correct address. The problem is at 620 N. College. This is a Chickering rental. The problem has been caused by various vehicles (Indiana, Illinois, NJ), but all are at the same address - rich, entitled students renting from a rich, entitled rental company.

Mayor Thomson has asked that we let our voices be heard about the Hopewell PUD. My voice says that the administration should not be rushing ordinances through that have not had the proper time to be reviewed. Is this a good proposal? Maybe! But follow the letter of the law. Mayor Thomson’s letter was tantamount to bullying council for following the law. We get enough of that at the federal level. Please do better in the future and think about tone and process more than looking good to campaign donors.

My understanding is that this establishment is not legally allowed to have a liquor license due to their proximity to a church. The HPC rejected their application to become an historic district, and they have no other avenues to legally sell alcohol I am aware of. Please let me know if I am mistaken, or if they are flagrantly violating the law.

This is an Airbnb. The management dropped the can off in the grass between the street and sidewalk over a month ago and has not touched it since. Special pickup by the city was made over a week ago. Guests have now moved can to sidewalk. Home has been visited by management within this month’s time but ignore the trash can every time. It would be nice if folks who don’t live in the neighborhood would at least pretend that they care about the rules. Thank you for your assistance.
