There has been a crane-like platform parked on the street for a long time, north side of 8th Street just west of Grant. Did someone forget about it? It is taking up parking places.

See case #207337. The response did not explain why it is ok for these people to store a portable toilet on City property in full view of the neighborhood. It is standing in the "Tree Plot" right by the street. This is City property. Please ask the builders to move their latrine to the back of the lot where people don't have to be continually reminded of their presence.
See case #205955. This was a "couch on porch" complaint. Apparently, those complaints are so important that signatures are required. However, they are never taken care of. Is the public required to continue to complain about a particular address, or will the City follow up and see if violation citations are actually taken seriously? If there are only warnings issued without fines, the "citations" will be throw away and forgotten.
There are many "for rent" signs that sit in yards sometimes for many months. Are they legal? How long are they allowed to sit there? Also, at this particular address they have an additional sign that is affixed to the porch. How many signs do you let them have? And are they allowed to have permanent ones up even when the property is not actually for rent? And can they be attached to the building/deck, or do they have to be free-standing?
No attempt to remove snow after two weeks. Parker rental.
No attempt to remove snow after two weeks.
This photo was taken February 7, 2 weeks after the big snow. 804 S. Park Avenue.
Sidewalk still hasn't been shoveled 2 weeks after the snow. This is a street with fairly high pedestrian and car traffic.
Tire in the street needs removal.
A homeless person has set up camp next to railway tracks just north of the Park Ridge neighborhood park. It is disguised as a pile of sticks. His 2 bikes are easily noticeable next to the Grimshaw Trail. One can follow his tracks to the campsite as he has survived the cold of the last 2 weeks.
