Sidewalk ends at creek, forcing pedestrians to cross busy road with no crosswalk or walk on the road. With Switchyard Park, pedestrian traffic is now much higher. Sidewalk needs to be continuous here.
On the basketball courts, one of the hoops is missing the crank to raise/lower the basket. I've seen individuals manually raise and lower it by using a similar piece to the cranks, but having the crank replaced greatly enhances the usability of the courts.
One of the toilets won't stop flushing.
On the northside light pole, two of the five lights are out.
The skate park drain is clogged so water is just sitting there when it hasn't rained in a while.
Switchyard Skatepark lights still haven't been turned on. B-Line and adjacent park lights came on around 7:10p last night, and by the time I left at 8 (because it was too dark to keep skating), they still weren't on. I'd really like to make sure they're on for tomorrow's opening of the new features! (Though tonight would be better) Secondary comment: Is there a way to update old tickets instead of creating new ones? I've tried replying to the emails in the past but that didn't seem to work.
The Switchyard Skatepark lights need turned back on for the evenings. I've talked to the construction crew and they only intended them to be off for the first couple days. Thanks!
There are exposed wires in the ground inside the large dog pen at the Switchyard dog park . There are two wire protection covers side by side on the west edge of the pen in the flat. One of them appears to have been damaged by a mower. There were small chunks of the plastic cap all around the area. It might be wise to fix this so that it will cooperate with future mowing. Unless you're waiting on a ladder or a can of WD-40, this ticket appears to have been closed with no action taken. Given that the bearings on the swings are not sealed, it stands to reason that they will need lubrication occasionally. Why not put the task on someone's work schedule?
