Employees, visitors, and bus stop users all continue to violate no smoking ordinance per state and local policy. Anyone using the sidewalks and going through doors to buildings they have to use are subjected to smoke inhalation all throughout the week. Please address this. Especially bad by trash enclosure and county bench near north intersection heading towards trades on county side sidewalk.
It would be so nice if your crew would trim the overhanging branches on Creek’s Edge path. Especially the south half of the path is nearly impassable in places. Note the tree at the ‘turn off’ to Evergreen Retirement Center. Thanks much!
A tree fell down blocking a part of the path in the trails by the twin lakes rec center. The tree is right by the entrance to the trails near the 2800 Kelli's Way building at the Bradford Ridge apartment complex. The tree has been down for a couple weeks now with nothing being done on it

Hi, apologies if this isn’t the correct place for this, but I need to express my concern. Over the last year or so, I’ve taken more of an interest in City Council meetings and have been watching them on CATS when I can. I’ve noticed an odd…phenomenon(?). From what I’ve observed, council members more or less attack (sorry for lack of better term) city-hired consultants when they’re presented with information that they don’t agree with. Tonight’s community survey results being the latest example. It almost seemed like multiple members of council were suggesting that a firm be hired based on their ability to provide the data they preferred, rather than proven surveying methods. Again, this may just be me, but the aggressive questioning and more or less insulting of the “expert” was very off-putting. It happened with Hopewell presentations, too. Why does council feel the need to attack and then soap box? Everything feels knee-jerk and emotion based. I just wish there was more level-headed, unbiased conversation in these meetings. Like, these are the people making decisions for their voters but so many of their speeches are about them personally and may mention constituents, but in a very flippant way (if that makes sense). Anyway, it’s just concerning to me. These people are supposed to be representatives of the residents of Bloomington and therefore Bloomington itself, yet do not hesitate to make offensive comments to people hired to ultimately help the city become better. At what point does Bloomington just get the reputation of no one wanting to work with/for us because council is more or less abusive if they aren’t given information/data they agree with? Sorry if this just comes off as a rant—I truly hope it finds its way to some welcoming ears and eyes. And maybe, just maybe, inspires some change. I will use my singular vote each election cycle and hope for the best, in the meantime.

I have notice a very disrespectful tend toward Kirkwood business owners, disabled, and City of Blooming citizens and guests. Shen there are events are held on Kirkwood it has taken the city and extra day to remove the Ballard posts. This extra day for each event wastes public good of being able to park and go to local businesses on Sunday. This also wasted the public free space that a lot of people use on Sunday to go to those businesses. Maybe the city administration and staff don’t care because they are using a city vehicle to go and shop or eat downtown with out paying the meters. I can see understand if their jobs directly relates to a project or direct issue. They are just not getting a free space but they are keeping a paying person either by feeding the meter or a ticket and going to visit a local business. I digress also with the extra day of keeping the street all of the parking spaces are going to waste. Only the business and citizens are feeling the inconvenience of this change in policy. Maybe the city should give an additional day of free parking on areas closed after an event so maybe the city will share in the inconvenience of not opening the street up asap.
This car is parked over the designated parking area and on the surface used for driving traffic. When driving South on Henderson, if you needed to turn right onto Wylie St., you might clip the front of this car due to the inappropriate parking.
