A concerned resident called 3400 to let us know that the release at Binford Elementary is not being enforced properly. There are many parents parking in the grass and in the ROW on the street to run in to get their children. This is causing congestion and potential hazards for the safety of the children.
Bob Brown 812-350-5117 Resident stated that there is a Mighty Tough Envirusac full of a toxic looking substance located at 1010 Sherbrook Drive in the greenway between the sidewalk and the street. It has been there approximately 2 weeks.
Homeowner Karin Chestnut states that we cut a tree down that was in the tree plot at her location 2 1/2 years ago. The wood was never picked up. She states that she has attempted multiple times to have this removed. It is now blocking access for the Xfinity company to bury her cable line. She would like someone from the city to come and remove the wood.
Caller would like to send an inspector out to check of the exterior deck that is over a flat roof due to amount of students on the deck and safety concerns regarding the structure. Caller wished to remain anonymous and have be report this on their behalf.

Additionally, there are two cars at the property: one that does not appear to be running and another that is frequently being worked on. There are also cars frequently pulling up in the alley, where individuals from the house briefly interact with the vehicles before returning inside. On this property on the Allen street side, AEG left a 2ft wide and 3ft deep hole. This was months ago and the homeowner has left several messages. Also across from her property on Allen Street is an even larger whole near the sidewalk that was left by AEG.
1502 E University is a rental property. There is no yard maintenance happening at all and everything is overgrown. They have mowed maybe once this year.

Staff received verbal complaint of tree of heaven patch at 1123 E Miller Dr. Staff inspected site, which did appear to be tree of heaven. Tree of heaven primarily on private property, but may be going on City parcel as well.
