photo taken on east side of rogers, facing north at about 10th street. all 3 of the orange signs here (warning about construction near 16th and rogers) are fully blocking the sidewalk. thats a violation of state law. i respect that full compliance is difficult but *it is not optional*. if it is impossible to provide service for cars without blocking the sidewalk, local ordinance says the sidewalk takes priority! you *must* close the road entirely to drivers if the only alternative is to block the sidewalk on both sides.

Utility dug up the tree plot and has left a pile of dirt eroding into the sidewalk. Looks like an AT&T box. Has been this way for over a month.

this photo is facing north on rogers at 11th street. there are several flaws in the MOT for this project at about 16th and rogers. 1) the sidewalk is closed on the left (west) side, and conpletely obstructed on the right side by a caution sign for motorists (state law says you cannot obstruct bike lanes or sidewalk for temporary signs), so both sidewalks are blocked! 2) the west sidewalk was closed a full 24 hours before any work was begun, including overnight! 3) the west closure is for half a mile between 11th and 17th, but the work only covers about 200ft of this distance. that's insane! people live on both sides of the street and we need local pedestrian access!! thanks!

The new speed bump is ridiculous, no matter how slow you take it heading into town it's jaw jarring. The road is horrible, if your going to fix it, fix it. You've made it 10 x worse than it was. I drive this 4 times a week going to and from work, its very annoying. The road work in Bloomington is ridiculous honestly, let's work on every road people on the west side use to get back and forth all at the same time...good job Bloomington!!

The city said it would be done installing streetlights at this intersection by October 24, yesterday. The weather has been amazing and can’t be the cause of the delay. I pass this daily and have not seen any workers. It’s incredibly hazardous for pedestrians during busy times of the day. Please make this a priority. Thank you.

It takes between 20-30 minutes a day to get from Iu hospital to i69 and the time increases with Iu traffic. Why can there not be more lanes added or have iu traffic routed. You have multiple streets closed and trying to get from one side of town to the other is increasingly difficult without a detour and the time it adds to commuting for work is becoming unmanageable for a lot of people. It makes 0 sense that we have one of the top schools nationally but can't afford to fix the traffic issues. Newsflash only the rich care about looks the rest of us want to get from point a to b without much hassle.

The construction around Kirkwood, 2nd Street, Adams, etc is making me fucking crazy. Whoever decided to do all of these projects all at once is, at best, stupid. Getting from my house and to my job takes twice as long, and 2nd street being one way for a month is absolute shit. Please pass this word to whoever made this decision and tell them that I hate them. Thank you!

I am writing to report a serious safety hazard at the intersection of 2nd and Patterson, where drivers turning right from 2nd onto Patterson desperately need vertical "Right Turn Only" and "Straight Only" signs. The current pavement markings are faded and completely insufficient, causing drivers to mistake the turn lane for a straight lane daily. I drive this route every day and witness near-misses multiple times a day including this past Monday when I was nearly hit on my commute home from work. Because there is no clear signage, drivers realize they are in the wrong lane too late and end up racing to cut people off or hitting the curb and jerking into traffic. This intersection is a major accident waiting to happen, and the city urgently needs to install clear overhead or roadside signs and repaint the road markings before someone is seriously injured.
