Other: I am writing to report a serious safety hazard at the intersection of 2nd and Patterson, where drivers turning right from 2nd onto Patterson desperately need vertical "Right Turn Only" and "Straight Only" signs. The current pavement markings are faded and completely insufficient, causing drivers to mistake the turn lane for a straight lane daily. I drive this route every day and witness near-misses multiple times a day including this past Monday when I was nearly hit on my commute home from work. Because there is no clear signage, drivers realize they are in the wrong lane too late and end up racing to cut people off or hitting the curb and jerking into traffic. This intersection is a major accident waiting to happen, and the city urgently needs to install clear overhead or roadside signs and repaint the road markings before someone is seriously injured.
