My usage this month is 5,000 gallons, but in previous months it was usually only around 2,000 gallons. I’m not sure why it jumped so much. Is there any reason for the sudden increase? Was there a rate change or something wrong with the meter?

Neither my husband nor I received notification of the water main break last night that lead to no running water for several hours.
