Switchyard playground merry-go-round doesn’t rotate anymore
Squad car 1524 went up and over the curb at the Henderson st parking lot at Bryan park. It should really be removed
Near the Clear Creek Trail parking lot off of Tapp Rd there are two large pieces of limestone stacked just north of the bike rack. Just under the far right bottom corner of the lower rock is an entry point for a yellowjacket nest. There was a lot of activity with the afternoon sun, with at least 15-20 yellowjackets seen flying around and entering the opening.
Time to update this to indicate what the switch is for. Maybe update the wood post into something that looks less temporary. At least paint or stain. At best replace with a metal post.
On Sunday September 14, at around 8 pm, a guy who calls himself "Turbo" came in to the dog park with five out-of-control dogs. These dogs have repeatedly ganged up on my dog and on other dogs. Several people have repeatedly had conversations with him about controlling his dogs and respecting the two-dog-per-person rule at the park. Tonight, when we asked him to call off his dogs, he angrily yelled at my wife and other people at the park. I saw him yell at a guy named Jim and flip over one of the tables in front of him. We tried to leave, and he followed us and yelled at us. We brought our dog home and came back to see how Jim was doing, and in that time, he had returned to the park and was continuing to yell at Jim. Jim tried to file a U-Report, but he wasn't sure if it processed. If security patrols at the Switchyard see a middle-aged white male with gray dreadlocks and five dogs heading toward the dog park, they should know that this guy is trouble. I am concerned that he might escalate a situation, and I don't want to see anyone get hurt.
I would like to have the trees along the sidewalk in front of our house evaluated. A large branch fell from one in early July, picture attached. I am concerned about the remainder of this tree along with the others along the sidewalk.
A large branch high in the city oak tree in front of this address is dead and has partially fallen off the tree. All the leaves are dead and a different color so it is easy to identify. The branch is still attached, however, and could fall during a storm or high winds onto cars that often park under the tree. Could the city remove the branch to limit potential destruction of property in the future?
Compared to the Clear Creek Trail south segment the northern 2 sections are cluttered with debris. Please sweep and clear fallen tree trunks and leaves on the trail from Tapp Rd Church lane. See pic. Thank you.
Last year (?) the Callery pears in the grass strip next to the Bryan Park tennis courts on Woodlawn were removed. Are there any plans to replace them with native trees,
