Somebody hit my car in the Morton St garage. That parking garage is loaded with newer security cameras, one pointing at the perfect angle for the incident. I need to know who hit my car and possibly get the footage, but theres never anyone in the garage office. There are also no phone numbers that I can find.

Whose idea was it to change the Morton St Parking garage to from 1 entrance / 2 exits to 2 entrances / 1 exit? This makes zero sense.
Now instead of cars flowing in and out smoothly, cars are stacking up trying to get out of garage. You get stuck behind every person having to pay to get out, or worse every person having trouble trying to pay to get out.
This change was incredibly stupid. It needs to be changed back to the way it was.

The parking garage entrance on Morton between 6th and 7th as of 2pm today had a problem. The EXIT sign over the exit by the street was hanging down. Only one corner seemed attached.

To whom it may concern,
I have a monthly parking pass for the Walnut St. Lot and I found my car tagged with a red ball around 7:45am on Monday, September 25th. I parked my car around 8:00pm on Sunday, September 24th, so within 12 hours someone placed this object on my car. I am extremely scared that this object was placed on my vehicle with malicious intent and I want to see the camera recordings from the parking garage to see what / who did this to my car. As a college girl who often drives alone, this is a huge concern for my safety and well-being. I am also getting the IUPD police involved to get to the bottom of this situation.
Please let me know when I can see the footage from the cameras as I am worried about my safety and my car's safety being in the lot.
Feel free to email me at ariannaweisberg@gmail.com or call / text me at 612-385-2475.
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Arianna Weisberg

My car was broken into I believe on 10/09/23. It was parked in the Morton Street Parking Garage, 3rd level. It doesn't appear that they took anything. I don't leave things in my car, but documents from my glovebox were out on my seat.

The two lights in the alley along the west wall of the 4th Street parking garage are out. The one closest to the photographer in this photo has been out since a few weeks after the garage opened. I would suspect that they are both still under warranty. The alley is pretty dark, the photo is misleading as to the light level there. Thanks, Brian

Follow up on Case #199613. This report shows that it has been resolved, but the lights have never been operational. I know that one of these lights failed after a few days of the parking garage opening. I would imagine they are still under the original warranty from the contractor that built the garage / supplied the electrical fixtures. Sorry for being pesky about this, but the exterior of the parking garage looks nice . . . and having two lights that have been out of commission for over two years does not send the message that I believe we want to send. Furthermore, it seems like the contractor should still be on the hook for this repair.

Neither of the EV chargers have worked for at least three weeks.
In addition, the two spots available are very tight. It's very hard to park and have enough space to enter and exit your car and find room to organize the charging cord.

Gridlock at the 4th street parking garage. Have been stuck on the 4 th level for over 30 minutes. Concerned that my prepaid parking fee won't be valid and will have to pay more to get out?

I am wondering if parking an RV is allowed in city metered spots. Any rules to give tickets as long as it fits? Thanks
