We are located currently in a home in Hyde Park that's close to a cell tower, and the cell tower is already a little bit concerning for me. So that's 1 area of questions I have. The second is, though, that as of this morning, it's emitting a high pitched frequency all day long. Nonstop. It's creating headaches for us and our family. I believe the cul-de-sac neighbors as well. I'd like to get it stopped as soon as possible. Can you please direct me in so doing? Thank you so much.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

320 W 8th St #113

Case Date:
4/26/2025

Over the past 4 years, W. 1st street from Walker to edge of Hopewell (near Fairview) was used extensively, often daily, during demolition and construction with heavy equipment and trucks often idling there waiting to move closer to the Hopewell construction area. . As a result that end of the street as well as the curve onto Wylie/Euclid street experienced a lot of wear and tear; periodic potholes, sidewalks closed at times, spray painted utility markings. Are there any plans to pave and repair the street and shoulders that are technically in McDoel Gardens? It definitely would show a measure of goodwill for all that the near neighbors and businesses have experienced as Hopewell emerges. W. 1st towards Rogers and onward looks great with paving, new sidewalks and street lamps.

For Council & Mayor Offices: The whole near west side within city limits that leads to what everyone considers the actual west side of Bloomington (whether in city limits or not) is being very poorly zoned and utterly bad development. The city never prioritizes parks or other greenway features - or even just simple street trees and better vegetation requirements. All the businesses over here continue to get gigantic parking lots and the less popular zoning cases (i.e. rehabilitation centers) are pushed to the west side. Where are these items on the east side of town? Or north? This is inequitable zoning and use of resources focused only to east side and downtown residents. We want to see better.

Twin Lakes Recreational Center

Case Date:

I wish to complain vehemently about the noisy hand dryers at Twin Lakes. With each use, it sounds like a jet airplane taking off. A terrifying and very LOUD sound. It’s time to replace them with a softly humming dryer before an octogenarian member dies of a heart attack. You’ll save on toilet paper, too, from those who look for an alternative!

The cap on the water meter is wobbly and not attached properly. I am afraid someone might get hurt if they were to step on it. The meter is just to the right of the driveway. Thanks in advance.
